Why is my webcam out of focus?

VTWC30 - Manual Focus Camera:

  • The VTWC30 model requires manual adjustment for focusing.
  • To adjust the focus:
    1. Rotate the knob that houses the camera lens.
    2. Turn the knob until you achieve the desired focus.

VTWC20 - Fixed Focus Camera:

  • The VTWC20 model has a fixed focal distance.
  • For best results:
    1. Adjust the distance between you and the webcam to find the optimal focus point.
    2. Open the camera application on your system to help verify the focus.

VTWC40 - Autofocus Camera:

  • The VTWC40 model uses autofocus technology.
  • If your VTWC40 is out of focus:
    1. Ensure that the area is well-lit, as autofocus performs better in good lighting conditions.
    2. Clean the camera lens to remove any smudges or debris that could interfere with the autofocus mechanism.
    3. Open the camera application on your system to verify if the focus adjusts automatically when you move closer or farther from the camera.
