- Open Device Manager:
- Press
Win + X
and select Device Manager. - Look for your webcam under the Cameras or Imaging Devices section.
- Press
- If your webcam is listed, it is recognized by your system.
- Open Device Manager:

- Open System Report:
- Click the Apple menu and select About This Mac.
- Click System Report and look for your webcam under Camera in the hardware section.
- If your webcam is listed, it is recognized by your system.
- Open System Report:
Testing Webcam Functionality:

Windows 7, 8.1, and 10:
- Open the Camera Application:
- Search for the Camera application in the search bar or find it in the All Programs menu.
- Launch the Camera application to check if your webcam is working.
- For manual focus models (e.g., VTWC30):
- Use the Camera application to adjust the focus of your webcam.
- Turn the focus ring on your webcam to fine-tune the image until it is clear.
- Open the Camera Application:
Additional Tips:
- Ensure that any necessary drivers are installed and up to date.
- If your webcam is not recognized or not functioning, try plugging it into a different USB port.
- Restart your computer and check again if the webcam is recognized and functional.
